This Masking Film is ideal for quick and efficient covering of a vehicle and protects it against overspray, dirt and dust. Colad Premium Masking Film with paint adhesion - primer and/or paint adheres permanently to the film. This film has static properties, is easy to cut with a Colad Foil Knife and can be used with infrared drying (max. 120°C). By using the Colad Foil Dispenser covering can be done by one person.

Application

Preparation
Clean and dry the vehicle surface. Remove dust and dirt to ensure optimal film adhesion. -
Film Application
Mount the roll on the Colad Masking Film Dispenser Smart (Art. no. 2061) and pull the film evenly over the vehicle. The static properties make it cling instantly. -
Cutting and Positioning
Cut the film to size with the Colad Foil Knife (Art. no. 2070 / 2075) and position it to cover all non-painted areas. -
Sealing
Secure the film edges with Colad Masking Tape for a tight seal and clean paint edge. -
Painting and Drying
Apply primer or paint directly onto the film where needed. The treated surface ensures paint adhesion. Suitable for infrared drying up to 120°C. -
Removal
After drying and cooling, remove the film carefully and dispose of it according to local regulations.
